I just went and had an eye exam because I needed a new pair of prescription safety glasses for work and dropped $1,000 on a new pair. A thousand dollars for safety glasses? Are you kidding me? The last time I bought safety glasses it was $600, which the company I work for griped about paying half. I have a difficult prescription to fill and the lenses for me to buy, considering I need 2 pairs at a time are becoming outrageous for me to buy. When I was a kid I remember my Dad paying $40.00 for my glasses. How did we get from those
prices to the silly prices of today?

I'm working on Edna Mode. Now if I can find a way to attach Round black frame fronts to a pair of glasses I already have I can do it for less. Otherwise its one of those 2 pair for cheap places!

Wow, that looks excruciatingly painful, as we can all see by the blood pouring from his face! Not so sure I like the design though, and I agree with another poster - looks slightly tacky. Almost like the people who get the moustache tattooed onto their finger.
